Went to Jatujak Market early in the morning. Most of the stores were not even open yet. First thing i bought was another pair of Birkenstock. Super cheap lo. More clothes and belts. Dear really bought alot of stuffs. Shorts, skirts, sunglasses, belts etc etc. Met the rest for lunch at one roadside store. Ordered tom yum noodle. Same with dear. Tom yum in Thailand really very strange. Either it is not spicy at all or it is super spicy. This noodle is the tasteless kind.
Went to Bombay Market, only to discover it closed on Sundays. Guess the cultures are really different from Singapore when most businesses pickup on weekends especially Sundays. So we had no choice but to take taxi back to Pratunam market. Bought some more stuffs before we went back to hotel to wash up.
Undecided on what to eat we went around the neighbourhood and we saw a steamboat restaurant. The price super cheap and we just went in to eat. The steamboat very different from singapore ones. The ones here have the bowl of soup on top of the hot plate. While the one there look like:
You will need to put the meat on the top of the peak with holes to cook. At first we thought it was quite innovative. But we were disappointed when the food started to slide down when they were almost cooked -_-".
After dinner we went back to hotel and gathered at Chinhong's room to play poker. Surprisingly we were the first followed by Jingpei they all. I thought we were always the late ones? Anyway we played bridge innitially, then changed to heartattack. After which we played the Circle of Death. Very tiring, keep running around the room. Because we thought of the winner had to do one distintive action and the last to follow will have the forfeit. The forfeit is drink MINERAL WATER. Sucks. I finished a few bottles. The 1.5l kind. The last game was the memory game using cards. Discoved that dear either have good memory or luck. Keep getting correct. I was one of them with fewest card. Lol.
