Went out early in the morning. Huiyi got in contact with an one-day guide and he would bring ask around Bangkok.
First stop : Floating Market.
Took the minivan (11 seaters) and travelled a long distance cause the market was not even inside Bangkok. Finally after so long, we had reached the venue. Quite expensive per ride. Although i have forgotten the price already. Quite Interesting. Never sat on a sampan and so close to the water before(except for the assault boat in army). The negative part was that the temperature was pretty hot as it was approaching noon. After the ride we ate noodle beside the river. It was worth mentioning because the noodle is very unique. Sort of like smaller version of kuaytiao (meekia-kuaytio). Lol.
On the way to the next sight, we stopped halfway for lunch. Ate the most worth-it, most satisfying meal in Bangkok. We had Tomyum soup, oyster egg, glass noodle, volcano prawn and a big fish. The oyster egg and prawn were the best. Very generous on the oysters and the prawns were the biggest i had seen.
Second Stop : Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo
Who would go all the way to Bangkok to waste money to visit their zoo. Yes, we did. Dear and me both didn't wanted to go initially. But going with the crowd, we were left with no choice. Watched the crocodile show first. Next, was the "special show". Actually it was a magic show following by elephant show. After that, we walked around abit more before we decided to leave.
Third Stop : ChinaTown
Brought us to Chinatown to buy local products. The first shop we saw was selling all kinds of leather products. Saw the stingray wallet i wanted to get for my dad. $10 Sgd only lo. Luckily didn't' get cheated in patpong. After buying wallets, we went to a local product store similar to "meizhengxiang" in singapore. Dear bought alot. REallyALOT. Scary.
Fourth Stop : Suan Lam Night Market
The last time i went here i found the things sold here were way too overpriced. But after so many days of shopping, we knew how much were the stuff. So we could bargain all the way down to the lowest price. Bought some souvenirs and proceed to our last stop.
Last Stop : Four Face Buddha
At first i thought it was some kind of temple. But it was located in a small open ground next to a big junction and middle of big shopping centers. Pai pai for a while before leaving for dinner.
Dinner near our hotel and cost around $50 sgd for 8 people. Good and cheap food
Went back to hotel and decided that after we bathede we would go to ChinHong room to play cards again. But Huiyi and Veron wanted to rest already. So we went to their room instead. Haha. Surprised them. Played late into the night before we rest.
